Questions people ask us
How much does a move cost?
A small or studio move starts from £180 with one mover, or £280 with two. A three-bedroom home starts from £400 with one mover, or £550 with two. The full table is in our prices section, and the estimator gives you a rough figure in a few taps.
How do you work out the price?
By the size of the move and the number of movers. Smaller jobs can be charged by the hour instead: £60 an hour for one mover, or £85 for two. Time runs from when we arrive at collection to when we finish at the destination.
Is there a minimum charge?
Yes. Hourly jobs have a 2-hour minimum.
Do you charge a deposit?
Yes. A flat deposit of £49 secures your date.
What can change my quote?
More furniture than described, floors or stairs we weren't told about, no parking near the property, extra addresses, specialist handling, a lot of dismantling, or delays outside our control. Tell us up front and your quote stays accurate.
Do you dismantle and reassemble furniture?
Yes. Dismantling and reassembly is from £30 per item. Let us know which pieces when you ask for a quote.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry £5 million public liability insurance and £25,000 goods-in-transit cover.
Which areas do you cover?
London, Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas. Pallet and business deliveries cover the whole UK, including Scotland.
Do you do long-distance or nationwide moves?
Yes. Nationwide moves are quoted on request. Longer distances carry a mileage supplement, which we confirm in your quote.
Do you work evenings and weekends?
Yes. We work 24/7, including evenings and weekends.
How much can your vans carry?
Our vans carry up to 1000 kg, and we send the one that suits your load. If your load is heavy, tell us what it is so we can plan the job properly.
Do you work with businesses and letting agents?
Yes. We work with businesses, landlords and letting groups as well as households. Send a business enquiry for regular, same-day or pallet work.
Can I track my delivery?
Yes. Live tracking is available on all jobs, so you can follow your delivery or move on the day.
